Angry Hearts fans call for Sergio Tranguil's sack

A section of the Phobians who troop to the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra to watch their idol club draw against Techiman City, after the game gathered in groups agitating for the dismissal of the Portuguese.

Hearts of Oak shot into the lead through Cosmos Dauda, before Techiman City restored parity through Isaac Baah.

The Accra giants who have gone four league games without a win, having lost 1 and drawn 3. But were expecting a victory against the debutants who are poor away performers, (L9, D2, W0) prior to the clash.

The results denied them the opportunity to reclaim the top spot, after league leaders Wa All Stars slipped at Cape Coast against in-form Dwarfs.

The fans were more worried especially after they got the news that their archrivals, Asante Kotoko managed a 0-2 win against Liberty Professionals at Dansoman which is some few distance away from where Hearts of Oak played.

It would be recalled that the Phobians were not happy with the appointment of Sergio Tranguil as Kenichi Yatsuhashi’s replacement. However, he proved his critics wrong when he took over the job by guiding the team to get results that sent them to the summit of the league log.
