Daniel Lomotey gets late call-up to beef up Black Stars B squad against Burkina Faso
The 17 year old speedster was left out of the squad that travelled to Burkina Faso last weekend for a 2-2 first leg draw in Ouagadougou but the man who scored the winner on debut in a friendly against Togo team B in Lome last month has earned a recall and will join the Black Stars B in Kumasi today to beef up the attacking strength of the side.
After the Burkina Faso game, the team moved straight to Kumasi where they pitched camp ahead of the second leg with the technical handlers, Coach Kwasi Appiah and Maxwell Konadu bent on winning come Sunday in the race to next year's tournament for Africa's home based players.
Currently Daniel Lomotey has scored 7 goals and topped it up with 3 assists in the Ghana Premier league, one FA Cup goal, one international goal and is currently the top scorer for league title chasing WAFA with rumours persisting that he is being monitored and targeted by some top European clubs.
