Kotoko to confirm Michael Osei as head coach

The interim coach of the Porcupine warriors is on the verge of being confirmed by the board of the club

Michael Osei took over from David Duncan on 10 March, 2016 on match day 7. He won his first game 3-1 against Liberty Professionals and returned Kotoko to winning ways-Kotoko have won 7, lost 2 and drawn 1 under his watch and have leapfrogged from the bottom of the league ladder after match day 6 to 2 position after match day 17.

There has been calls for Michael Osei to be confirmed as the substantive coach of Asante Kotoko and it got intensified after he led the team to beat Hearts of Oak in the President’s Cup on Friday 1 July, 2016.

The management of the club had already recommended to the board to confirm his appointment as the head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.
