Jordan Ayew and his Aton Villa tammates were eliminated from the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday. The Ghanaian and his side were beaten by four goals without reply by Manchester City who visited Villa Park for the fixture. Jordan played the full game for Aston Villa.

Abdul Baba Rahman played his first game under Guus Hiddink on Sunday when Chelsea travelled to play Milton Keynes Dons in the English FA Cup. Chelsea won the away game by five goals to one with Oscar, Eden Hazard and Bertrand Traore scoring the goals for Rahman’s team.

The Ghanaian played the full game for Chelsea without a booking.

In the Italian Serie A, Isaac Cofie played the first half for his Carpi team in their 1-1 draw at home to Palermo.

Alfred Duncan played the full game in Italy for Sassuolo as they shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw against Atalanta away from home.

Kwadwo Asamoah missed Juventus 4-0 victory away to Chievo Verona on Sunday. The Ghanaian midfielder was injured in training last Thursday and has been ruled out for up to three weeks.

Godfred Donsah had 61 minutes of playing time with his Bologna side in the 3-2 victory against Sampdoria on Sunday.

Afriyie Acquah played 59 minutes for Torino in the Italian Serie A before being replaced by Daniele Baselli on Sunday as his side played a goalless draw with Hellas Verona.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the entire game for Udinese on Sunday as they drew against Lazio at home. Neither side were able to score in the game.

German-born Ghanaian Kevin-Prince Boateng was introduced in the dying minutes of the game against Inter Milan for his AC Milan team. AC Milan won the game at home by three goals to nil.

Thomas Teye Partey made a 76th minute appearance in the Spanish La Liga for his Atletico Madrid side on Saturday. The Ghanaian replaced the injured Augusto Fernandez in the game against Barcelona. Atletico who ended the game with nine men were defeated by two goals to one against Barcelona.

Ghanaian player Christian Atsu however failed to make his debut for Spanish La Liga side Malaga after completing a loan transfer move from Chelsea. The former FC Porto player was named on the bench but could not make an appearance as Malaga won 2-1 against Eibar on Saturday.

Wakaso Mubarak made an 82nd minute appearance for Las Palmas on Sunday in their game against Celta Vigo. Lasp Palmas won the home game against Celta Vigo by two goals to one.

In Belgium, Benjamin Tetteh made a 69th minute appearance for Standard Liege as they won their away game against Oud-Heverlee by two goals to nil.

Sulley Muntari scored the only goal of Al Ittihad’s game against Najran on Friday in the Saudi league. The Ghana international played in the full duration of the game for Al Ittihad.
