Yaw Preko to act as interim coach after Kenichi's departure

Assistant Hearts of Oak coach Yaw Preko to take over club after Kenichi Yatsuhashi's departure from the club.

The Phobians mutually parted company with the Japanese-American trainer on Monday, which leaves the position vacant.

Pulse.com.gh, sources had earlier reported that Portuguese trainer Sergio Traguil who was brought in as youth team coach is expected to take over the club’s coaching job until that Preko will be acting as head coach.

“Yaw Preko is our assistant coach and I believe he has acquired some experience from Kenichi and other coaches.

“He has coached lower division teams before and he has what it takes to steer the affairs of the team until substantive coach is appointed,” Hearts board member Frank Nelson told Hot FM.
