Mr. Woyome failed to appear in court on Monday to continue the oral examination by the deputy Attorney General Godfred Dame due to illness.

The Supreme Court has adjourned the oral examination of embattled businessman

In his application, Mr. Woyome is also praying the Supreme Court to halt all the processes by the state to take the money, in order to allow the African Court to hear and rule on a similar case in which he is seeking to stop the government to reclaim the money paid him.

Woyome was paid GH¢51 million after he claimed that he helped Ghana to raise funds to construct stadia for purposes of hosting the CAN 2008 Nations Cup.
