Kwesi Nyantakyi has indicated that doesn’t know of the Sports Minister’s decision to cut the Black Stars bonus by 20%.
GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has made it categorically clear that his outfit is not aware of any Black Stars bonus slash.
It is in the public domain that the winning bonus of the Senior National Football Team of Ghana has been slashed from $10,000 to $8,000.
According to the reports, the agreement was arrived, following a meeting between the playing body of the Black Stars and the Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye.
However, Nyantakyi has expressed that he has no idea of the structure of the Black Stars bonus.
“What I know is that the Sports Minister invited the Black Stars to discuss bonuses, without reference to the GFA.
“I haven’t been invited to any meeting...on the bonus of the black stars, I have not been written to…and I don’t know currently what the bonus structure of the [Black Stars] is like, and I don’t take my information from the media,” the GFA President told Starr FM.
