Students under investigation over alleged occult activities

The students were arrested by the police in an uncompleted building upon a tip-off.
 
 

A primary 6 pupil and six students of Mary Afriyie SDA JHS at Mamponteng in the Kwabre District of the Ashanti Region are being investigated for allegedly performing occult acts.

According to report by Joy FM, the seven children, most of them teenagers, were allegedly drinking a strange concoctions and making some incantations in the uncompleted building after school hours.

The pupils were caught performing some rituals and doing incantation intended to help them to get quick and free money overnight.

While the leader of the seven, aged 13, is in Primary Six, the rest, who are aged between 11 and 15, are all in Junior High School (JHS) Two.

They are, meanwhile, attending classes without any intimidation whatsoever.

Report say school authorities have refused to speak to reporters on details of the bizarre incident.

They, however, said they are investigating the matter.
