Kotoko and Hearts kept apart in semis

The rivals could meet in the final of the 2017 MTN FA Cup, after being kept apart in the semi-finals.

The Porcupine Warriors and the Tarkwa lads are not new in the FA Cup, having had several clashes in recent times: Kotoko have lost two finals against Medeama- 2013 and 2015.

Hearts of Oak of Oak and Wa All Stars would both be looking for their first FA Cup final, after it went on a ten-year break 2001-2010.

This is a big opportunity for Hearts and Kotoko to face each other in the first final since 1990.

Each of the 4 teams will receive GHC7, 000 each plus GHC1, 000 air time.

The winner of the 2017 FA Cup will be giving GHC50, 000 and the runners up will receive GHC15, 000.

However, the club that will represent Ghana at the CAF Confederation Cup will also be given GHC100, 000 for adequate preparation
