Ibrahim Abdulai Musa adjudged National Best Farmer 2015

He is the owner of I Am Unity Poultry Farm, situated in Dormaa- Ahenkro in the Bono Ahafo Region.


45- year old Ibrahim Abdulai Musa has emerged the National Best Farmer for the year 2015.

He is the owner of I Am Unity Farm, situated in Dormaa- Ahenkro in the Bono Ahafo Region.

He will receive a three- bedroom, fully- furnished house from the first sponsors of the 31st National Farmers Day Celebrations, the Agriculture Development Bank.

In addition to his poultry farm he has  200 acres of maize,  10 acres of Cocoyam,  7 acres of Cassava, 2 acres pepper,   12 acres citrus, 100 acres of cocoa, 12 acres of Oil palm, 10 acres of  plantain and 20 acres of tick.


Animals: Cattle 25 and goats 80.

The first Runner up

Augustine Boateng, Asonafo North from the Brong Ahafo Region.

He is 43 years old , and married to two wives with 8 children. He has been farming since 1995. He employs 730 workers.

His scale of operation include roots and tubers, cereals, plantain, banana. He is also into livestock farming.


He has 5 acres of maize, 42 acres of rice, pepper 3 acres and 90 acres of  cashew.

He receives a double cabin pick -up truck from Stanbic Bank

Second runner up

Charity Akortia from  Agona west in the Eastern Region.

She is 45 years old and the owner of Aseda Farms. She cultivates vegetables, crops and lifestock. Her scale of operation include 23 acres of cocoa, 16 acres of plantain, 7 acres  of coconut, 18 acres of  oil palm, 2 acres of  citrus, and  1 acre egg plant.


In terms of livestock, she bosts of the following: Cattle 33, sheep 93,  Turkey 48, duck 120, geese 3, 5196 layers and bee hives 75.

She receives a single cabin pick- up truck as her price from the Stanbic Bank.
