Arsenal were stunned at home by Liverpool as they suffered a 3-4 defeat in the opening game of the Premier League on Sunday.
The Reds came from a goal down to beat the Gunners 4-3 at the Emirates Sports Stadium.
Theo Walcott missed from the spot kick but made amends a few minutes later to put Arsenal in front in the 31st minute
But Philippe Courtinho levelled for Liverpool in added time of the first half.
Liverpool came from the half time break with rejuvenated spirit scoring three straight goals: Adam Lalana positioned himself to receive a pass from Nathaniel Clyne and put the ball beyond Peter Cech’s reach in the 56th minute, before Courtino scored the third to register a brace, before Sadio Mane in a solo run dribbled past two players and put the ball at the right corner of the net.
Arsenal woke up from their slumber and threw everything up front in search of goal and substitute Chamberlain pulled one back in a sublime manner when he beat three players before finishing it perfectly into the net. Chambers connected his head to a well-taken free kick to give Arsenal the third goal.
