Ghanaian comedienne and media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has asked the management of TV3 not to act like saints.

Her comment is on the back of TV3’s decision to take its news anchor, presenter and producer, Nana Aba Anamoah off air over twitter gaffe.

A devout Manchester United fan, Nana Aba Anamoah has been trending all week for photos she shared on twitter suggesting that she was at Old Trafford last Saturday to watch the “Red Devils” play Sunderland.

The picture however happened to belong to another person, who after seeing that he had been cropped out of the photograph subsequently released other photos to show that the photos belonged to him and not Nana Aba.

A statement from TV3 which confirmed her suspension said:“after preliminary investigations internally, and in accordance with TV3’s own commitment to the highest level of professionalism, Management has decided to take Nana Aba Anamoah off air until further notice.”

Afia Schwarzenegger reacting to the issue in a Facebook post questioned why TV3 took that decision on the basis that the news anchor was unprofessional when the network aired videos of her [Afia Schwarzenegger] claiming that she had beaten a man twice her height without proper cross check.
