MASLOC boss demands apology from Valerie Sawyerr for second-hand car claims

Mr Amoah is calling on the former Deputy Chief of Staff under the Mahama administration to apologise to him for accusing him of buying 1,800 second-hand cars with no MASLOC board in place and no Public Procurement Authority (PPA) approval.

Dr Sawyerr made the allegation in her latest article in which she made fun of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to him, the article by Dr Sawyerr has traumatised his "illustrate and cherished mother," giving her one week to retract and apologise to him.

“I am accordingly giving you, Dr. Valarie Sawyerr one-week from today, 9:00am, Friday, 3 of November, 2017, to reflect on your disparaging statement against me and the President, retract and render an unequivocal apology to me, the president of the Republic of Ghana and the entire Ghanaian community. Failure to do this honourable, admirable, respectable and praiseworthy thing, will inform my next line of action,” he said.

Dr Sawyerr's article catalogued events that have occurred for the past 10 months under the Nana Akufo-Addo government.

She ridiculed the president and his Vice for spending $2.5million on the country’s newly designed National Digital Property Addressing System, Ghana Post GPS.

She also made fun of the president for taking credits for projects that she argues began under the John Mahama administration, such as the Wa Water Project.
