PFAG pays last respect to late Hearts midfielder

PFAG paid their last respect to the family of the late former Hearts of Oak midfielder Uriah Asante who passed on last week.

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana were on Sunday the family house of former Hearts of Oak midfielder Uriah Asante to mourn his death.

Asante, 24, died last week Monday in Accra from a reported cardiac arrest at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The Professional Footballers , led by General Secretary Anthony Baffoe with support from Ali Jahrah, Ibrahim Tanko and Laryeah Kingston mourned with the bereaved family at the late Asante's residence.

Asante played two seasons for the Phobians, on loan from Pure Joy FC, before moving to Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
