Enyimba United players and team official were brutalised at Katsina when the home fans attacked them with stone, following a league game

Katsina United who had beaten Enyimba International 2-1 in a league game, decided to extend the beating to off the field when their fans stoned the vistors.

The players and team officials of Enyimba had to go for cover in their team buses, but that didn't stop the aggrieved fans of Katsina from stopping their barbaric acts.

They smashed the driving mirrors and wind screen of the team bus of the two times champion of Africa and some of their players suffered cuts on their heads and heads in the process.

In the game itself Enyimba could not hold on to their lead as they were pegged back by Katsina United who went on to win 2-1.

Chinedu Ohanachom gave Enyimba the lead in the 21st minute.

But two second half goals from Obinna Eleje (46th minute) and Chinedu Udechukwu (83ed minute) completed the comeback for Katsina United.
