The senior national male football team were in high spirit as they defeated a Kumasi based division one side 6-1 on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
Raphael Dwamena opened his Black Stars goal account with a brace after and Majeed Waris after missing out on the 2017 AFCON in Gabon also returned with a bank, registering a brace too.
Jordan Ayew started the scoring in the 23rd minute from an assist from Samuel Sarfo, before Frank Acheampong doubed their lead in the 39th minute, but Asokwa Deportivo pulled one back before the half time break.

Different set of eleven players were fielded by James Kwesi Appiah in the second half. Waris registered his name on the score sheet, before Dwamena made it 4-1. The Lorient striker who was in his high element recorded a brace and Dwamena also followed suit with another brace to put the icing on the cake.
