Recap of Ghanaian Players Abroad for the weekend's football games

Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side had their unbeaten start to the English Premier League campaign come to an end after a defeat to Arsenal.

Leicester City were beaten at home by five Arsenal goals to two with Schlupp playing the full game.

Jordan Ayew was an unused substitute as his Aston Villa side travelled to Anfield to play Liverpool in the English Premier League. Aston Villa were edged by home side Liverpool with a 3-2 score line.

Andre Ayew played the full game as his Swansea City side were beaten away from home at Southampton by three goals to one.

Christian Atsu was once again omitted from the AFC Bournemouth Premier League squad that played Stoke City on Saturday. Stoke won their home game by a 2-1 score line.

Abdul Baba Rahman was dropped for the English Premier League game against Newcastle Untied after playing the English League Cup in midweek. Chelsea came from two goals down in the game against Newcastle to secure a 2-2 draw.

In the Italian Serie A, Kwadwo Asamoah returned to the Juventus bench for their away game against Napoli. Juventus lost the game by two goals to one.

Mubarak Wakaso played the full game for his Las Palmas side as they were defeated by two goals to one against Barcelona.

Dennis Appiah featured for his Caen side in the French Ligue 1 as they defeated match day opposition GFC Ajaccio by two goals to nil. The Ghanaian played in the full duration of the game.

Samuel Inkoom played no part for Boavista in Portugal on Saturday as they played out a goalless draw at home to Sporting CP.

Enock Kofi Adu received a yellow card booking for his Malmoe FF side in their away game against Halmstads BK. The Ghanaian played the full came as both sides failed to score on the day.

Albert Adomah had 77 minutes of playing time for his Middlesbrough side in the English Championship game against Leeds United. The Ghanaian and his side won the home game by three goals without reply.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored and gave an assist as his Udinese side came from behind to win 2-1 against Bologna in the Italian Serie A. The Ghanaian played the full game for Udinese.

Afriyie Acquah made a 70 minute appearance for Torino in the Italian Serie A as they beat Palermo by two goals to one.

Abdul Majeed Waris could not find the back of the net when his FC Lorient side travelled to play Montpellier in the French Ligue 1. The Ghanaian and his side lost by two goals to one in the game.

Frank Acheampong was an unused substitute for Anderlecht in their 1-0 win at home against St. Truiden in the Belgium Pro League.

Daniel Amartey played the full game for FC Koebenhavn as they lost 1-0 away from home in Denmark.

David Accam and his Chicago Fire team were handed a 3-2 defeat by Totonto FC in the Major League soccer. The Ghanaian forward played the full game with fellow international Patrick Nyarko making a 55 minute appearance for Chicago Fire.

Adam Larsen Kwarasey shipped two goals when his Portland Timbers side travelled to play Columbus Crew. The Ghanaian goalkeeper and his team mates lost the game by two goals to one.
