The controversial talk show host and other top Ghanaian celebrities including Wendy Shay and Shatta Wale have been battling the FDA for the past one month over their decision to disallow celebrities’ involvement in alcoholic beverages advertisement.
Afia, however, believes there’s a foul play in the ban, claiming some alcoholic beverages advertisement are aired live during the Ghana Premier League matches.
“You take bribe and allow some people to advertise for alcoholic beverages while others don’t,” she said in an Instagram post on Friday. “Adonko [Bitters] can air their adverts during EPL matches but the rest aren’t allowed.”
She said after chastising the FDA, they have threatened her clients to desist from working with her.
Afia then called on some powerful gods and shrines in Ghana including Antoa and Akonedi to kill the FDA board members and further evoked Coronavirus curse on them.
She also evoked curses on anyone who interferes in the matter including social media trolls.
