'24' actress dies at 60

'24' and 'Nikita' Canadian actress, Alberta Watson, has passed on at the age of 60.

Alberta Watson who was best known for her role as special agent on the Fox drama '24', has passed away.

The Canadian actress died on Saturday at Kensington Hospice in Toronto after battling with cancer.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the luminous Alberta Watson,”

“Alberta died in the arms of her beloved [husband] Ken.” - her agent, Pam confirmed to PEOPLE.
