Political tension between Iran and the U.S has risen over the Whitehouse-ordered airstrike in Iraq which killed Iranian military commander, Qasem Soleimani. The Iran government has promised to revenge the death and that has sparked the fear of a possible world war.

Amidst this fear of America being a prime target, Cardi B has stated that she wants to leave the country to Nigeria where she also wants to acquire citizenship. She made this known via the tweet below.

After her tweet, Nigerians fans been welcoming to Cardi B and have even photoshopped her husband, Offset with her daughter into traditional Nigerian outfits. This has caught her attention and she responded by telling her fans to help her convince Offset to move to America with her.
In December 2019, the Grammy-award winning rapper visited West Africa for 3 days and without a doubt, she has fallen in love with Buhari’s country though she passed through Ghana for a show before leaving.
