Legendary music producer in hospital

The 82-year-old legendary music producer was reportedly at his home in Bel-Air when he fell in on Thursday, September 17.

Quincy Jones has been rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles for chest pain.

According to TMZ, he was taken to a local hospital after an ambulance was called around 1:20PM (6:20 Nigerian Time).

"Quincy had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine," Quincy's rep tells TMZ

Jones has won 27 Grammys and was huge in the success of Michael Jackson -- producing the albums 'Thriller,' 'Bad' and 'Off The Wall.' He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
