After rock band Dark Suburb performed at this year’s VGMA, stories about how they were demon worshipers went online.

While some have questioned their gothic costume, others have simply chosen to say they are ‘demon worshipers’.

The group has moved to debunk the claims.

In an interview on LBC on Live 91.9 FM with Jay Foley and Jeremie, they punched holes in the claims insisting:

“We are not demon worshipers and we do not represent any religion.

“We represent anything positive. We are for the people, and we believe that everything good should prevail and the bad should be buried,” they said.

An alternative music group, they are known for popular songs "I Dey Feel You Die", "Get out" and "Jump Of A Cliff".
