Former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez has revealed the reason behind the row between him and Brazilian forward, Neymar.

The pair was caught on video arguing during Barcelona's open bus parade which led to midfielder slapping the Brazilian forward.

In an interview with sports daily, Xavi explained that Neymar was drunk from the celebration of the previous night and was not focused on the open bus parade.

“They were trying to take my shoes off and were pushing me when I was standing on the edge of the bus," Xavi said.
