Ron Newt sues Fox series
A self acclaimed Ghetto player, Ron Newt has sued executive producers of FOX hit series, Empire, as well as the lead character, Terrence Howard.
In a report by TMZ, Newt is suing Terrence Howard, Lee Daniels, Empire and others, claiming the hit show is a carbon copy of his film, Bigger than Big which allegedly tells the story of his life as a "gangster, pimp and drug dealer."
Newt also claimed that he met with Terrence at the Four Seasons hotel a while back and they discussed Ron's documentary, "Bigger than Big." Ron says Terrence connected to it, and said he wanted to play him in the film.
After Empire debuted to huge ratings in January, Ron says the similarities are more than suspicious, thus, he's suing.
He listed the following as the similarities that further proved to him that his story was jacked with no approval.
