Late Paul Walker was acknowledged at the debut of the much anticipated Furious 7 at the South by Southwest Film Festival.

Producer Neal H. Moritz and co-star Tyrese Gibson paid tribute to Paul Walker.

"The reason that we kept this thing going became on behalf of our brother Paul Walker," Gibson said.

Walker, who plays Brian O’Conner in the 'Fast and Furious' series, died in the middle of the shoot on November 30, 2013 in a car crash.

His death caused director James Wan, to complete the film, using Walker's brothers,Caleb and Cody Walker.

“I know Paul Walker would be smiling down on us. “We lost a dear friend, brother and comrade when we were making this movie. When we decided to continue this movie, we were determined to honor his legacy.” - film producer Neal Moritz  said as he introduced the film.

The film also contains a touching montage tribute to Walker.

'Furious 7' has April 5 as its release date.
