'Birdman' beats 'Selma' to win 'Best Picture' award
'Birdman' flew away with the 'Best Picture' award at the 2015 Academy Awards.
The comedy movie which is about an actor fleeing his superhero past, beat movies like American Sniper, Birdman, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything and Whiplash for the great prize.
Birdman' rocked the Oscars, winning three other awards: Best Director for Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Best Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezki and Best Original Screenplay.
