Ghanaian rapper, Edem has been nominated for the Black Canadian Awards 2015.
Edem earned a nomination in the Best International Act, Africa category where he faces opposition from Mafikizolo (South Africa), Eddy Kenzo (Uganda), Teeyah (Ivory Coast), Yemi Alade, Oriste Femi and Yemi Alade (Nigeria).
The CEO of Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG), is the only Ghanaian nominated in this year’s awards celebration. Edem earned a nomination in the Best International Act, Africa category where he faces opposition from Mafikizolo (South Africa), Eddy Kenzo (Uganda), Teeyah (Ivory Coast), Yemi Alade, Oriste Femi and Davido (Nigeria).
The event which comes off on June 6, 2015 at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theater, Toronto will feature performances from Leila Dey, Lisa Banton, Lorraine Scott and Jay Harmony among others
Born Denning Edem Hotor, Edem has curved a niche for himself in Ghana’s creative arts industry and is hoping to add Black Canadian Awards trophy to those he bagged at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
