"Anyone who attacks Edem won't succeed" - Jonilar

Jonilar opined that Edem didn't copy the track under discrepancy from the claimers and that, anyone who tries to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the rapper will never succeed.

A freelance journalist and brand manager Jonilar Laryea popularly known in as Jonilar has waded unto the ongoing "Nyedzilo" saga.

A few days after VRMG boss Edem released his most hyped Afrobeats single "Nyedzilo" which features Nigerian Mavins' star Reeekado Banks, two Volta Region based artistes Eduwodzi and Kosi Bone have made copyright claims of the song. Each of them claimed they recorded the song earlier before Edem and that guarantees their copyright claims.

This exasperated Jonilar who knows the boiling issue from its head to tail.

"My issue is Edem does not has a history of attack on any colleague in the industry. He invested his time into learning the craft and how to make his song more appealing to the people out there. That's why he is only rapper from the region who uses Ewe dominantly but had a break through," he told Pulse.com.gh

Jonilar further opined that Edem didn't copy the track under discrepancy from the claimers and that, anyone who tries to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of the rapper will never succeed.

"Edem is the 'eye of God'. If you want to deal with him come clean and his blessings will follow you. If you care, his woes will be your portion," Jonilar concluded.

Jonilar has worked with Eduwodzi in the past and recently parted ways with Hecta and Kosi Bone on moral grounds -- especially due to their attack on Edem when he released "Nyedzilo".
