Sarkodie tops charts, D-Black & Obrafour out, Becca & Bisa Kdei make entry
Sarkodie's "New Guy" music video featuring Ace Hood makes it to the top as Obrafour and D-Black exit. Check out how this week went below.
Another exciting week as Sarkodie breaks through the top five list with two music videos – “New Guy” featuring Ace Hood and “Mewu” featuring Akwaboah. Sarkodie’s most criticised song of his career and visual for “New Guy” made its way through the charts the first week of release. Though, the video’s 700+k views on YouTube didn’t satisfy many critics, the rapper managed to get it on popular international screens. The Candice Lee Campos concept film which was directed by Justin Campos of Gorilla Films kicked Keche’s “Diabetes” video from the top spot as “Mewu” video takes the 4th spot.
Sarkodie’s “New Guy” video is followed by R2bees’ most hyped music video for their Afrobeat single “Gboza” which features Nigerian top Pop star Davido.
Omar Sterling (Paedae) of R2bees fame is doing well with the video for his smashing hit single “Nineteen Ninety”.
D-Black and Obrafour’s charts dominated videos have finally exited as Becca and Bisa Kdei make entry on this week’s chart. D-Black’s classic video for “Shigbogbo” featuring Kwaw Kese and Obrafour’s story telling video for “Pimpinaa” featuring Bisa Kdei has dominated the top five list for months but finally have to make way for other fresh videos to make entry.
