Some parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo turned frenzy on March 25 after a man the Congolese perceived to be Jesus Christ appeared in the streets and was seen moving around.

It is not clear if the white man was in the central African country for the first time, as both men and women mobbed him, touching him left right and centre, all in a desperate bid to experience miracles.

A hilarious video circulating online shows some Congolese holding the confused man by his two hands, with a huge crowd following him and singing songs and mentioning the name of Jesus.

It is unclear where they were sending him to, and how they eventually left him.

Apparently, the Congolese were misled by some portraits normally attributed to Jesus Christ to ‘harass’ an innocent man who may even turn out be a pagan after all.
