The World Health Organisation which the globe is looking up to for a cure for the deadly Coronavirus has revealed that two of its staff at the headquarters have been infected with the novel virus it has declared a pandemic.

This Coronavirus has proven that it has no respect for a person or status.
The virus was first detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and has so far killed at least 7,400 people and infected over 182,000 others in 162 countries and territories.
Christian Lindmeier, the spokesperson at WHO has confirmed that two of WHO’s staff at the headquarters have been infected with the virus.
"We do have two staff confirmed with symptoms of COVID-19," the spokesman said on Tuesday, March 17.
In the wake of the confirmed cases at the Geneva-based organisation, Lindmeier said most of the staff at the were now working at home to combat the spread of the pandemic.
The cases are the first at WHO and follow a confirmed case at the United Nations office in Geneva as well as one at the World Trade Organization (WTO) last week.
In Ghana, six cases of the virus have been officially confirmed while some people are in quarantine while more contact tracing continues.
Government of Ghana has introduced new and more drastic measures including the closure of schools, suspension of social gatherings such as church and political activities among other things.
