The video recorded by the unnamed Nigerian man has hit the internet and gone viral, triggering condemnation left right and centre.
While some people describe the young woman as rude and disrespectful for shamelessly assaulting the mother of her husband in his presence, to the extent of threatening to beat her up, they also hold the view that the man of the house was irresponsible to haven watched them create such a humiliating scene for him to film.

It is unclear what triggered the altercation, but generally, it is expected that either a husband or wife would exercise restraint and not attack their in-laws, irrespective of the provocation.
