Priye Bernard, a 40-year-old bricklayer from Odi in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has been sent to his early grave by an angry husband who allegedly caught him having sex with his wife in a farm, reports Daily Trust.

It was learnt that the bricklayer who happened to be the woman's secret lover. had followed her to her farm to harvest cassava and seized the opportunity to have sex with her in the bush when the husband, a local hunter, arrived and caught them adulterous duo in the act.
Incensed with the effrontery of the bricklayer, the angry husband, an Isoko man from delta State, used his hunting gun to shoot him to death on the spot.

Sources in the community said the corpse of the late Bernard had been deposited at Ebidom mortuary in Odi while the killer and his wife have been arrested by the police.
