An audio conversation between the pilot and air control operators as the latter tried to seek permission to make a U-turn has been making the rounds online.

The pilot could be heard telling air control operators at King Abdul Aziz International Airport: “This flight is requesting to come back…a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.

“May God be with us. Can we come back or what?”

Ostensibly after conducting their own checks at the terminal, air control operator then said: “Ok, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!”

Fortunately, when the plane made its way back to the airport terminal, the frustrated woman was able to find her baby.
