A 16-year-old boy who murdered a 4-year-old boy and dismembered him has been charged for murder.
Azeez who has been charged as an adult, committed the atrocious crime on July 27, when he lured the little boy to a bush and murdered him.
The police prosecutor in the case, Inspector Rita Momah-Moshood, informed the court that the suspect allegedly cut the boy’s stomach with a kitchen knife and removed the intestines, the kidneys and his private part.
The prosecutor explained that the mother of the deceased had gone into labour and left her children at home with their father and while playing outside, Azeez who is a neighbour of the family, lured little Ibrahim to the bush behind the Anglican Primary School and killed him before dismembering him.
The Magistrate, Mrs F.A. Adeeyo, ordered that Azeez be remanded at the Lagos State Creation Centre pending the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution over the killing, and adjourned the case till October 19 for mention.
