The big news is the new iPad Pro, but Apple has also released the new iPad mini 4, the first substantial update to its's smaller iPad in almost two years.
As the rumors guessed, Apple's 7.9-inch tablet has had its inner parts updated to be almost the same as last year's iPad Air 2.
This means it’s got Apple's A8 processor, a substantial upgrade from the A7 the iPad mini has carried for the last two years.
The extra processing power is particularly crucial, because it means the iPad mini should be able to run all of iOS 9's new multitasking features.
According to Engadget, the iPad mini 4 is slightly thinner and lighter than last year's model, and Apple also changed the tablet’s back camera.
It’s now blessed with an 8-megapixel shooter; basically, it's the same camera found on the iPad Air 2. Other than that, the iPad mini 4 is just what you expect: it comes in space gray, silver and gold, with storage starting at 16GB going up to 128GB.
Just like last year, pricing starts at $399 for the 16GB model.
