Villa Monticello, an award winning luxury boutique hotel located in Accra, Ghana will launch , its signature fine dining restaurant on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 6:30pm.

A stunning intimate 28 seat restaurant with additional outdoor pool-terrace seating to accommodate 60,Chapter One will present a special 5-course culinary experience, paired with exclusive wines and champagne from boutique vineyards around the world at the opening reception.

As one of Accra’s few fine dining establishments, Chapter One’s à la carte and table d’hôte menus for lunch and dinner will showcase the artful and delectable cuisine of Chef Ruby Paintsil, an innovative and dynamic chef with over 25-years of experience in Europe and Africa.

Chapter One’s extensive menu will feature starters such as Spinach & Pea Cappuccino Soup with White Truffle Oil & Parmesan Crisp, Braised Snail Ravioli with Spinach, Egusi Confit, Citrus Tomato Confit and a Twice Baked Cocoyam & Parmesan Souffle.

Entrées include a Fillet of Sole with King Scallops, Wild Mushroom Chowder & Smoked Veloute and an Asian Glazed Veal Chop with Oxtail, Cabbage & Potato Tart with a Shallot & Red Wine Gravy. Desserts include a Plantain & Banana Tart served with a poached banana, ice cream and white chocolate sauce.

Chapter One’s launch event will be hosted by Kofi Laing, Creator, Producer and Director of #GhanaSpeaks on Joy Prime and Joy News and attended by an exclusive guest list of media, celebrities and cultural and business industry influencers.
