How to prepare snail okro soup

Okro is low in calories and has a high dietary fiber content.

  • Ingredients

Snails

Onions, minced

Ginger, grated

Garlic, grated

Rosemary, grounded

Bay leaves

Scotch bonnet, paste

Tomato, paste

  • Method

Transfer well cleaned snails into a saucepan and add your onion, ginger, garlic, rosemary, bay leaves, salt and cover to cook.

After 5- 7 minutes, add scotch bonnet and tomatoes to boil.

Add okro and  200 ml of water, stir and leave to cook uncovered.

Taste for salt and add other spices or any grilled fish for extra flavour.

Serve with banku or Eba.
