Italian automaker to mark 100th anniversary with new supercar [VIDEO]

Lamborghini is marking it's 100th anniversary with a new supercar.

The car world has been going crazy with rumors of Lamborghini building a new supercar for it's 100th anniversary.

Lamborghini CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, has finally confirmed the existence of this new 2016 model.

While speaking with Auto Express, Winkelmann said there really is an anniversary model and went on to reveal the debut date.

“We will unveil a car in Geneva. In terms of renderings, it is known to the customers already."

He also spoke on speculations that this special edition would be based on the Huracan.

“That’s unthinkable. The car we will show will be a completely different design from both and

According to a Lamborghini insider, the 100th anniversary model will be “beautiful and not as extreme as you might expect.”

This special edition will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016.
