TEDxAccra is an annual independently organised TED talk organised by local communities, formerly known as TEDxLabone until the curators were granted a higher status by TED global to organize the event as TEDxAccra. TEDxAccra takes inspiration from TED talks, and will leverage the TED experience at a community level, bringing together innovative thinkers and pioneering doers. TEDxAccra 2015 will take place on April 11 at the National Theatre from 7am to 7pm. It is expected to be the biggest TEDx event in Ghana to date. The theme for this year is “The Next Chapter”.
The Speakers have been selected from a distinguished nominations list, which includes many based in Ghana as well as Ghanaians in the Diaspora.
