Kevin Na attempted to shed his reputation as a notoriously slow player by completing his final round at the Tour Championship in under two hours.
Speed of play is not a virtue Na has been considered to possess during his time as a professional, a lengthy pre-shot routine contributing to such a view.
However, the world number 36, playing on his own following Jason Day's withdrawal, blitzed his fourth round at East Lake, coming back at level par in less than 120 minutes after finishing with four straight birdies.
"I'll tell you what, nobody's going to break that record shooting even par or better," joked Na upon his return to the clubhouse. "I birdied the last four holes running. Maybe I ought to run more often!
"It was really just about having fun. I wanted to break par today and play well. Finish on a good note.
"I'll run a mile on the treadmill. I can run maybe three miles without stopping. That's not terrible for a golfer."
