Kojo Oppong Nkrumah wins Ofoase- Ayirebi constituency

Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, who won the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primary for the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern Region – has stated that he will work to increase the number of NPP votes in the constituency.

Speaking to Accra-based Joy FM after provisional results indicated that he had won, Mr. Oppong-Nkrumah said he would work with the contestants he defeated to double NPP votes in Ofoase Oyirebi and galvanise votes for Nana Akufo-Addo to beat President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 general elections.

He said “I am happy, I am sad…it’s a mixture of feelings..,” he said.

He attributed his victory to hard work and a focus on his five point agenda for developing the constituency.
