Gov’t begins distribution of free sandals to pupils

In fulfilment of a promise made by President John Mahama during his third State of the Nation Address in Parliament, government has begun the distribution of free sandals to pupils across the country.

The President also announced that half a million school uniforms will be distributed to pupils while 30,000 computers will be given to various school laboratories and to improve ICT education.
