The immediate past Electoral Commission (EC), Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan has been honoured for his service to the nation with the highest national award.
The award, was presented to him by President John Mahama at the Flagstaff House on Wednesday.
The President also honoured 42 medical personnel who volunteered to travel to Ebola stricken countries to offer their services there.
In attendance were some Ministers of State including Alex Segbefia, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, Dzifa Attivor, among others.
