Asamoah Gyan has been named as Africa's highest paid footballer, the Ghana captain's staggering £226,923.07 ($350,000 or GH¢1.429,615.03) a week salary in China placing him just above Ivory Coast captain, Yaya Toure who earns £220,000.00 weekly.This was revealed by UK based website, Thekingmaker.me's ratings of 200 best paid footballers in the world today in a list that included highest paid football coaches as well.

The Police administration have indicated they will conduct investigations into news that rape reports are being sold at the Police Hospital.Speaking to Pulse.com.gh, Director of Public Relations of the GhanaPolice Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur said "This is too wild to be true. It is impossible. It is unheard of. I am going to be there myself to find out."

Embattled High Court judge, Justice Paul Uutter Dery, has onceagain filed a writ tostop a Court of Appeal judge, Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, from hearing his case involving ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and four others on claims of bias.According to Justice Dery, Justice Torkornoo "exhibited bias or a real likelihood of bias when she dismissed" his contempt case against Anas and four others on September 29 without giving him a hearing.

Andre Ayew has been named by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in a 10-man shortlist for the 2015 AFrica footballer of the year award, it is official.The other Ghanaian named in the previous shortlist of 37 players announced back on October 11, Christian Atsu  however failed to make it into the final ten following his injury plagued season at Bournemouth despite being named the best player at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations back in February.Ayew faces stern opposition from record 4 consecutive times winner, Yaya Toure of Ivory Coast who is also the only African in the race for the 2015 FIFA Ballon d'Or award.
