There is a general perception that a physically fit employee will be very efficient at work. To this end Agricultural Development Bank in collaboration with the Ghana Armed Forces organized a health walk for staff on Saturday (September 24) in Accra.
About 850 military men and staff of ADB converged at the El-wak Sports Stadium for the walk which included a health screening.
The staff of both organizations walked through 37 bus stop, Nima, Cantonment, GBC, Kanda and back to El-wak.
“If we cast our mind back the way we lost Komla Dumor was sad. So we need to take time off our work schedules just to exercise our bodies in order to live healthy lives. And this is what we are encouraging our employees to do.”
The collaboration with Armed Forces is to solidify the already healthy relationship between the two entities.

Chief of staff, Major General Sampson Adeti said the walk marks “the beginning of good things to come. We wish to thank ADB for this collaboration that has had tremendous impact. ADB and Ghana armed forces collaboration started many years ago and this has been emphasized by the fact that ADB has several branches in the entire country, so for those of us who are in the armed services, ADB is a very reputable partner with whom we can collaborate ensuring all our financial requirements”
Daniel Asiedu urged all members of the Ghana Armed Forces to save with the ADB to “experience a better level of service than you have received anywhere.”
