Many are concerned that some Ghanaians may have been caught up in the matter.

Ghana’s Foreign Ministry has since announced that it is facilitating the return of about 168 Ghanaians who have been detained in Libya.

Speaking on Accra-based Joy FM, the Foreign Minister said that the three persons who reported being victims of the act are part of the 168 identified at the detention camp.

She said that authorities, with the help of the UN-backed government in Libya, have begun investigating the matter to identify all Ghanaians and arrange for their repatriation.
