He said the Chief Justice nominee missed an opportunity to show her political neutrality despite many of his colleagues praising her for her performance.

The accusation came after she declined to answer a question about the Montie Three saga. The three--Alistair Nelson, Godwin Ako Gunn and Salifu Maase-- were charged with contempt of court and were sentenced to four months in prisonment.
However, they were pardoned by former president John Mahama after serving one month in jail.
Speaking on Accra-based Citi FM Friday after the vetting, Ablakwa criticised her for failing to comment on the issue when she was asked.
"I thought she opted to be cagey and she opted to be evasive," he said in an interview.
"It’s her right to do that but I thought that this was an opportunity for her to show that they would be consistent and they will clear all doubts in the minds of anybody because that was a very political matter."
