PPP will walk the talk on all-inclusive Gov’t - Nduom

Speaking at the PPP’s national convention at Ghana International Trade Fair Centre on Saturday, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom said the PPP would “change the narrow ‘winner takes all’ parochial, ideology fixations to governance in Ghana forever.”

“We are committed to running an inclusive government using the best men and women no matter where they come from, no matter what their religion is, no matter their part affiliation. We want the best for Ghana and only the best and selfless will serve in our administration.

“To the PPP, competency matters. Being the best matters. Incorruptibility important and is paramount,” Dr. Nduom said.

He asked Ghanaians not to waste their vote on “people who promise and do little.”

The business mogul believes that even though previous regimes have done their best, “their best is not good enough.”

“And so, here we are in 2016, a nation divided; poverty in all its forms that still persists, preventable diseases like malaria, cholera, pneumococcal meningitis and so on and so forth, are still with us. Unemployment, high taxes, dumsor; they are still terrorising us.

“And yes, we have eyes so we can see that there are some roads being built here and there; there are some hospitals being built here and there; there are some schools being built here and there; we acknowledge all of these things. But we look at all of us, we look at our lives, and we look at where we are, and we acknowledge that we can do better. That Ghana deserves better. All of us know that our lives can be in a much better place,” the PPP flag bearer added.
