The former Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra region, Opare Hammond, has passed away.

He is said to have died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

He was appointed MD of PMMC in 2017 when president Nana Akufo-Addo won power in the 2016 election.
